GCSE Functional Skills – Children’s Fiction

About the work

Children’s Fiction

During the final half-term, English students from Confetti have been exploring different aspects of creative writing. In the final week, they explored the genre of children’s fiction, in particular children’s picture books. The students learned about the common tropes, ideas and themes explored in these stories, and were tasked with writing their own.
