Student Bio
Hi, my name is Michael I am 19 years old and a 2nd-year student for the level 3 VFX course at Confetti. I like doing 3D modelling and effects, particularly in this course style as it is the most fun and tailored to my style of art.
I plan to go to university to continue down this path and explore where I can go in the future in these areas of visual effects. The reason I like this is that I have always enjoyed making cool effects and like modelling with my hands as well but I did not get to do this much anyway. In the future, I would like to work on making films or tv shows like the fantastic beasts and show these skills in the future working for a company like ILM or Pixar.
I had very little experience with most visual effect’s formats and none with animation I had delved into modelling previously and what got me interested in the course. I have gone from no work to show to a full reel of work over the two years where I have learned new valuable skills in 2D and 3D from animating a sequence of events to creating a full 3d model environment and compositing real footage.
I have come a long way on this course and I hope to go further in the future learning more skills I can use.
