Student Bio
I am a year one Animation and VFX student at Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies. I’m currently specialising in 2D animation and character design however I look forward to experimenting with stop motion animation and creative writing.
My style is mostly influenced by children’s cartoons, fantasy shows and folklore, as well as aesthetics such as cottageore and fairycore. I hope to work in children’s animation in the future, and hopefully work for film and TV as either a concept artist, animator or writer.
I aim to study a BA Animation degree, hopefully at Nottingham Trent, and then hopefully work as an animator for an animation company either in 2D or stop motion animation. I hope to one day own my own animation company and produce animation with a connection to morals and values I believe in (not to sound pretentious or anything I just like morals is all.)
I am currently experimenting with character design, trying to understand how to make a character look unique and eye-catching as well as represent facial features not often represented in a positive light like acne, long or big noses, birthmarks etc. I want to practice this as I think making unique looking characters is important for making an impression on an audience and is satisfying as a creative person to study and create.
