About the work
Shey is on our Level 3 VFX & Animation course and has been working on this project over the past year to produce pieces of work that are up to an industry standard and will give them a head start within their chosen sector.
Confetti prides itself on giving students an opportunity to work with industry professionals and tutors that have real life experience within their industries, the above work hopefully gives an insight into student life at Confetti.
Student Bio
My name is Shey and I am a transmasc/agender artist who uses he/him, it/its and other pronouns. Art that I make usually focuses on fandom culture and animals, plus I like redesigning characters to be more abstract as it is just something that appeals to me. Unique colours are something that stands out to me more, I believe.
Although art and animation is my main interest, I also like using themes from my other interests when making characters or stories. These include but aren’t limited to Theme Parks (with Alton Towers being my personal favourite), casinos and the theory behind them, video games and more. I do best with 2D art since I have been doing it for a lot longer and as such I’m much more comfortable with learning new programs in this medium.
After this course is done I want to start animating as a hobby under the name SevenOnDice while having a stable income from a job that is based on my other passions and interests. Art is something that will always be important to me and my expression.
